All student associations registered with SiO Associations (SiO Foreninger) are eligible to apply for training time at SiO Athletica.
Student sports teams: SiO Athletica allocates training time based on equal treatment of the student sports teams. The allocation is based on the number of members, as well as the use and occupation of previous allocations. All student sports teams that apply for training time at SiO Athletica must be members of NIF/NSI and/or registered with SiO Foreninger.
Other student associations: SiO Athletica also allocates training time to student associations that are not sports teams. Student associations must be registered with SiO Associations. Such allocations shall primarily not come at the expense of the allocations to the student sports teams.
Corporate sports teams associated with educational institutions also have the opportunity to apply for training time. Student associations and student sports teams are given first priority.
All student associations and student sports teams that apply for training time at SiO Athletica must consist of a proportion of at least 80% students. This also applies to the association or the sports team's subgroups. Applicants who meet the 80% share are given priority, applicants who do not meet the 80% share risk losing/possibly not being allocated time. All applicants must send an overview of the student proportion in total for the association/team, and any subgroups upon request.
Members of student sports teams, student associations and company sports teams who are allocated training time must be members of SiO Athletica or buy a single ticket per training. See SiO Athletica's membership conditions for more info. SiO Athletica reserves the right to carry out checks at all allocated training times.
Training times are only allocated in facilities SiO Athletica disposes. It requires that you follow the current rules in SiO Athletica's facilities at all times, as well as SiO Athletica's well-being rules.
All student sports teams, student associations and company sports teams are responsible for ensuring that training areas and equipment are properly rigged and secured.
Deadlines for allocation must be announced no later than one month before the application deadline expires. The deadline for indoor areas is the end of April, and for outdoor areas mid-February.
Training time is allocated for an agreed period at a time, subject to change due to: misuse of time, insufficient occupancy and seasonal variations.
For the outdoor areas at Athletica Domus, training time is allocated for the calendar year, possibly when the areas are open. There is no winter operation on the artificial grass and tennis courts.
Applications for training time are sent together for each student sports team, student association and company sports team via the contact person/leader. See application deadline and form further up.
Allocation of training time is done in writing from the contact person in SiO Athletica. The individual sports team can expect a response to their application during March for outdoor areas and during May for indoor areas.
Matches can be played at no extra cost if they are held during the allocated training time Monday to Friday. For other matches and events at weekends, SiO Athletica offers hall or field hire. This is agreed with the coordinator or other contact person in SiO Athletica. Matches during the teams' training time must be notified to the relevant Athletica center no later than two weeks in advance.
SiO Athletica reserves the right to change/remove training time (for example in the case of maintenance work, examination proceedings, other events, etc.) and must notify affected student sports teams, student associations and company sports teams as quickly as possible (no later than 1 week before).
SiO Athletica can make meeting room facilities at Athletica Domus available during opening hours for all student sports teams and student associations that are allocated training time. By agreement, SiO Athletica can also provide limited storage space for equipment.
Changes to guidelines and fixed training time criterias must be notified to student sports teams, student associations and company sports teams before the application deadline expires.
Student sports teams, student associations and company sports teams are obliged to update their contact information with SiO Athletica.
