In order for you to keep your student price for membership at SiO Athletica, we need to register your valid student ID for this semester. 

The deadline for showing student ID is March 31 2025.

We approve the following.Student at a school affiliated with SiO:

• Student identification with valid semester fee to SiO for spring 2025. 
• Screenshot of the app “Student ID” where name, date of birth, school and semester fee to SiO for spring 2025 must be visible. 
• Receipt for paid semester fee to SiO for spring 2025. 
• Written confirmation with signature and stamp from your school, stating that you are a student and have paid the semester fee to SiO for spring 2025. 

Student at a school not affiliated with SiO:

• If you are not a student at a place of study not affiliated with SiO, you need to provide valid student identification from your school for spring 2025.

We only receive updated information from schools affiliated with SiO. If you have received an e-mail or SMS from us, this means that we have not received updated information about your student status from your place of study.A valid student ID can be shown at one of our receptions. Some schools have voluntary payment of semester fees to SiO. If you wish to keep your student price, you must contact the school directly to get the invoice and pay the semester fee. Yes, you must show your student ID to maintain the good student price on your membership. If you are not a student at a place of study affiliated with SiO, you must show a student ID from your educational institution for spring 2025 or a school certificate from upper secondary school.

Your student status for the autumn semester 2024 lasts until January 31 2025. Your student status for the spring semester in 2025 lasts from the time you have paid your semester fee until August 31. 

If you are no longer a student you can of course still be a member with us. All our former student members can get an alumni membership. This is a membership at SiO Athletica for an extra good price the first year after you finish as a student. Send us a message via the contact form on sio.no/en and we will help you.

The autumn semester 2024 lasts until January 31 2025, and you are only entitled to the student price until this date. If you have a student membership, but are not a student, with an end-date of March 31 or later, you will be charged the difference between student price and non-student price for the months you are a member in the autumn semester.

Yes, you still have to show your student ID for spring 2025. Even if you have frozen your membership, you are still a member with a student membership. If you have received an e-mail from us, please show your student ID. 

If you are on leave from your studies due to illness, you can apply to keep the student price by sending an inquiry via the contact form on sio.no/en:. First select the category "Sports", then "StudentID/EmployeeID”. Attach valid documentation from health care personnel. If your leave does not apply to health care issues, you will be charged the difference between student price and non-student price for February, March and April.  The student price is reserved for those who pay semester fee to SiO.
