[ONE-SHOT EVENT] Cold of the Grave

Greetings, adventurers! Are you in the mood for a bone-chilling adventure? Feel your skin crawl its way away from the horrors and terrors, heebies and jeebies, as we welcome you to our October one-shot event! For this spook-tacular event we have a treat prepared for you: We hope that as many as possible will join us in showing up for the event in costume! Terrifying, adorable, home sewn, or store bought, all are welcome to show up and even partake in a little catwalk to show them off in all their gory (or not so gory) glory! Were you at our DM Workshop or do you have any interest in DMing at our events? Please shoot a message to our DM coordinator @/mlkkr on Discord! In line with the holiday, we encourage DMs and GMs to indulge in delightfully spooky topics, and with this comes a bit of extra info: We want to be very clear upfront that with spookier subjects the topic of game safety becomes even more important. We hope any DMs/GMs willing to volunteer can show up a half hour before event start, ready to tell us a bit about the one-shot they’ve prepared. That way we can ensure that players are more aware of the themes and spookiness-rating of a table before sitting down, and hopefully guarantee a bloody good time for everyone involved! Furthermore, perhaps your creepy, eerie, frightful ideas don’t feel best suited for the comforting familiarity of D&D5e. In that case, we encourage you to prepare another system if you so wish! There are lots of excellent horror TTRPGs out there - maybe you’ll even want to try a system you haven’t before! After all, what’s more terrifying than the unknown?
