Using movement, sound, and visual awareness, we’ll stay present, respond in the moment, and build scenes that feel alive and connected. No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🌟 What to Expect 🎭 A playful space where everyone is welcome, no experience needed 👀 Fun, low-pressure exercises using sight, sound, and movement 🧠 A break from overthinking—more reacting, less planning 🤝 Games that build connection, awareness, and group timing ✨ Surprising moments that come from being fully present ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💡 Meet the Facilitators 🔥 Kristine Sterud has been performing, teaching, and shaping the improv scene at Impro Neuf for nearly a decade. Her mission is to bring the joy of improv to more people in a safe, supportive environment—believing that when we feel secure and truly listen, creativity can thrive. Kristine served as Impro Neuf’s leader and artistic director for 1.5 years, including during the pandemic, and has taught at all levels from beginner to advanced. She is the co-founder of two standout groups: After Eight Tits, an all-female longform group, and Far and the Rest of the Family, a shortform team. With a background in theatre and journalism, Kristine brings a dynamic blend of stagecraft and storytelling to both her performances and workshops. She’s also the co-director of the Oslo Impro Festival 2025, continuing her long-time commitment to growing the festival and community. 🔥 Anjitha S.g. brings a thoughtful, precise approach to everything she does, whether on stage or behind the scenes. She officially joined The Clap—an Impro Neuf house team focused on longform performance—in August 2024 and has already performed in four shows, including one at the Oslo Impro Festival. With a quiet presence and a keen sense of timing, she helps shape scenes with subtle, well-placed contributions that allow moments to grow organically. Her dedication to improv started long before she joined a team. A familiar face at Impro Neuf, she has been actively involved in the community for the last few years—volunteering at the Oslo Impro Festival long before stepping on stage herself. Now, she’s taking on the role of house manager for the 2025 festival, bringing the same quiet determination and problem-solving mindset that drives her in every aspect of her work. She is also active in Teater Neuf International (TNI) projects, further showcasing her love for performance and collaboration. 🌀 Together, Kristine and Anjitha are part of the Oslo Impro Festival 2025 board, where they contribute their experience, care, and shared commitment to making the festival a welcoming, exciting space for improvisers of all backgrounds. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💡 About Open Improv Workshops Impro Neuf’s Open Improv Workshops offer a fun and beginner-friendly introduction to the world of improvisational theatre.
