📖 Have you ever been super melodramatic in a show, and felt you could still dial it up to 11? Do you find yourself constrained by the realities of normal life? In this course, we will focus on the format of FilmFarsi (literally: Persian Movie), with its own flavour of overacting, plot twists, music transitions, and action sequences! You will work on how to let go, and be that little bit more extra. 🗓 Three-Day Workshop ⏳ Time: 10:00-17:00 daily (with a 🍽️ 1-hour lunch break) 🎉 Showcase Spotlight: Workshop participants have the chance to shine on stage during our group showcase on Wednesday evening. It's totally optional but a delightful way to enhance your festival journey! 🎨 About the Teacher: Tanine Dunais is a tapestry of talents. Beyond her prowess in improvisation, she's a graphic designer, illustrator, writer, and a beacon for cultural articulation. From Iran to the Netherlands, her journey has been global, offering her rich experiences that she passionately pours onto the stage, empowering improvisers to embrace their cultural roots. Notably, she co-founded an all-women Iranian improv troupe in Amsterdam, delivering tales of Persian girls in Europe. Fluent in four languages and having graced stages from Dubai to India, Tanine’s improv foundation was cemented at The Courtyard Playhouse in Dubai. Now, Amsterdam serves as her artistic haven, where she’s an integral part of the theater scene, frequently showcasing her skills at venues like Flock theatre.
