What is Athletica BOOST?
Athletica BOOST is a motivational competition organized by SiO Athletica every autumn and spring for all our members. The autumn edition kicks off on October 13!
• The goal is to establish good workout habits and work out at least 2 sessions per week.• You compete with yourself over 5 weeks.• One of the two sessions per week should be a group class at SiO Athletica, as you'll earn more points for that.• You earn points for each session. The points are used in the draw for the grand prizes.Group training classes = 3 points,Independent workouts = 1 point.• Once the competition period is over, you are automatically entered into the draw for the grand prizes. What can I win?
You earn points for every workout – and each point counts as a “ticket” in the draw for amazing prizes at the end of the competition period, which finishes on November 16.

How does it work?
The first thing you need to do when the competition is getting close is go to My Page at sio.no/en and sign up for the competition. Here, you consent to us tracking your workouts during the campaign period. Then, you're all set! After each session, stop by one of our receptions and scan a QR code corresponding to your workout. You earn points for each session, and the points are used in the draw for the grand prizes. Group classes are worth 3 points, and individual workout is worth 1 point. When you've completed two workouts in a week, you'll receive a weekly prize at the reception. Remember, one of the workouts should be a group class at SiO Athletica, as you'll earn more points for it.
As an extra motivation, you can also complete challenges by unlocking three different badges. Each badge you collect gives you additional points.
Boost beast: You've unlocked the Boost weekly prizes for all 5 weeks. Value: 10 points. Social butterfly: You've attended 5 group training classes. Value: 10 points.Globetrotter: You've trained at 3 different SiO Athletica clubs. Value: 10 points. By completing two sessions per week, you are automatically entered into the draw for the grand prizes.
Several workouts in one day?
To have your two weekly sessions approved, your workouts must be spread across different days. We recommend consistent, regular training rather than doing too much all at once.
What is an approved workout?
A workout session must be at least 30 minutes of physical activity. One of the sessions per week should be a group training class at SiO Athletica, as you'll earn 3 points for this session. Here you can see all of our group class categories—maybe you'll find a new favorite!
