Childhood is the time in life where we develop the fastest, and with us childs play has a large and central place. We let children experience of the magic of childhood.We who work at SiO Kindergarten are aware of our role as supervisors, and how our behavior contributes to children's learning of social skills. Play, relations and nature

SiO Kindergarten puts extra spotlight on childs play, relations and nature in its work.Childs play is the children's own language and we at SiO Kindergarten will contribute to and facilitate for the children with us to experience varied and activities where children can play in interaction with others or by themselves.We are concerned with relations, and how children and adults connect and get to know each other. Good relations are an extremely important starting point for children's well-being and development in kindergarten.SiO Kindergarten is committed to providing all children with good and varied nature experiences, even if home and kindergarten is situated in the city centre. We work to let the children experience the joy of being outdoors and in the local environment. 

SiO Kindergarten takes the childrens safety seriously

Staff are guided annually in preventive fire protection and first aid. Buildings and outdoor playgrounds are checked annually. Errors and defects are continuously rectified.We at SiO Kindergarten have developed our own training programme that ensures professional development and safeguards quality. Across all kindergartens, all employees are regularly coursed. 

Planning and documentation

Our work is based on planning, documentation and evaluation.  We document everyday life and experiences in kindergarten and share this with parents in kindergarten through the digital platform Mykid. We want to highlight well-being, joy and belonging.In special cases, it may be necessary to share information and documentation with other cooperative bodies. This is always done in cooperation with the parents.Planning should help create space for shared experiences and experiences. We focus on the individual child's needs and the right to participate in their own everyday life. Our kindergartens is characterized by spontaneity, flexibility and professionalism.The evaluation work forms the basis for the development of the kindergarten. We want constructive feedback from all affected parties. This applies to children, parents and colleagues.The yearly plan for the kindergarten is sent out in January every year.
