Opportunity for temporary housing at the start of studies
SiO offers accommodation in a dormitory for students who are still searching for permanent housing in Oslo during the period from August 6th to September 1st.Location: "The Yellow House" ("Det Gule Huset") at Rolf E. Stenersen's Street 6, at Sogn Student Village.The price is 200 NOK per night. You will pay for the desired rental period upon arrival.The offer includes:
- Bed in a shared room with others.
- Duvet and pillow are provided. Please bring your own bed linen and towels.
- Private, lockable cabinet.
- Shared kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave.
- Shared toilet and shower facilities
Please note! You can check in at "Det Gule Huset" between 12 PM and 3 PM on the weekdays.

Collaborative project
The temporary dormitory is a collaborative project between Oslo municipality and SiO.The purpose of this project is to provide temporary housing for new students in Oslo, allowing them to participate in the start of their studies and attend housing viewings.
