Here are some of the housing types currently available:
- Bjølsen Student Village, Unfurnished room in a shared apartment (dublett)
- Kringsjå Student Village, Room with bed, private bathroom
- Kringsjå Student Village, Unfurnished room, private bathroom
- Sogn Student Village, Furnished room, fully equipped – note: see information about length of stay
- Stensberggata Student House, Unfurnished room
- St. Hanshaugen Student Village, Unfurnished room in a shared apartment (dublett)
- Vestgrensa Student Village, Unfurnished room in a shared apartment (dublett)

Not all homes on the list you’ll see are available — only those with a note/remark indicating availability.
How to increase your chances of getting housing
To increase your chances of getting student housing from January, do the following when you submit or update your application:
- Choose January as your preferred move-in date.
- Add one or more of the housing types listed above to your application.
- Check the box saying "Yes, I want offers for similar housing".
Choosing rooms (hybler) increases your chances of getting housing quickly. We send out offers continuously as homes become available.
A final tip
If you don’t get the housing you want right away, you may be able to transfer internally to another SiO home later.
