Almelia
Almelia SiO Kindergarten is centrally located in Sogn studenby. We have a large and inviting outdoor area and experienced and warm staff. We have available spots starting in August. Please contact us directly or apply through the Oslo Municipality website.

At Almelia, we focus on play, relationships and nature, and see diversity as a resource. Here, the children will meet staff with extensive experience and expertise. We have caring and safe employees who focus on the child's best interests.
Community is important to us, and we have open doors between departments. Almelia's toddler ward is sheltered on its own floor, and for the youngest children, contact with the other wards will come gradually in step with security and development.
Our outdoor area invites to play and activity, climbing trees, cycling and ball games. We also have fruit and berry bushes and a small kitchen garden where we have potatoes, carrots and flowers.We have a short distance to public transport.

SiO nursery takes care of the magic of childhood. Children live in the moment and must be given the opportunity to experience every day as meaningful and unlimited. With us, play and children's wonder are in focus. Children can experience small moments as magical, and must be given the opportunity to be spontaneous and impulsive. We want all children to experience that our kindergarten is a good and safe place to be, where everyone feels seen and recognized for who they are, and can be themselves regardless of gender and background.

To get a kindergarten place at the main admission, you must apply by 1 March. But in SiO Kindergarten, we also take in children on an ongoing basis when places become available. Please contact the board if you would like to visit.
