All students can join a student association. Many associations are open regardless of where you study, while other associations are associated with a particular place of study or are for students in a particular field of study.Read more about the student associations here.
The best place to start is to check out all the associations out there. You can check them out in the Association overview. There you will also find contact information for the various associations. At the start of each semester, many arrange open meetings where you, as a newcomer, can come and get to know the association better and what they do.
If you can't find an association that suits you, you can start your own. There is a lot to think about when starting an association, but SiO Foreninger is here to help you.Read more about how you can start an association here.
