We receive many inquiries from students who are struggling. Everyone experiences difficult times in life and sometimes it feels good to talk to someone. Our goal is for you to cope better and get a feeling of overall well-being in everyday life, and at the same time have less troubles.

Do you experience great anxiety about the coronary infection and want someone to talk to about it? At SiO Health we can arrange for you to have a video call within a few days. Call our switchboard to schedule: 22 85 33 00.

Do you suspect you have a coronavirus infection?
If you feel sick, stay at home. If you have mild respiratory symptoms, you should stay at home for at least one day after you feel well. You do not need to contact your healthcare provider for testing.

If you have severe symptoms, you can call the Oslo corona line on 21 80 21 82, or the Oslo emergency room on 116 117. If you are not able to get in touch with the City of Oslo, you can call us for information (do not book a doctor appointment regarding the coronavirus online).

If you have a respiratory tract infection, a cold and/or have a fever, do not show up at our premises.

Our services
Our health centres in Nydalen and Kjeller are closed. Blindern and Holbergsgate 21 are open as usual. According to guidelines from the Institute of Public Health, from the 16th of March, we do not accept patients physically. This applies to dentists, psychologists, counsellor and physiotherapist. Dental health services will still accept urgent inquiries. Appointments for issues that can wait are now postponed to free up capacity in connection with the coronavirus.

Information to you that have an appointment at SiO Health Blindern.

Infection prevention measures in our health centres
As an infection prevention measure, we are temporarily introducing new greeting routines for those visiting our health centres. This means that we choose not to shake your hand when you come to a consultation. You are still welcome!

Do you struggle with:

  • Stress
  • Loneliness
  • Relationships (with partner, friends, family)
  • Grief
  • Low self-esteem
  • Financial issues
  • Studying (motivation, presenting, study techniques)
  • Feeling depressed

  • Anxiety
  • Abuse
  • Substance abuse
  • Bullying / Harassment

If you experience any of these or other issues, do not hesitate to contact us. Remember that no problems are too small. All our employees have a duty of confidentiality.

You must be a student and have paid semester fee to SiO in order to use our offers.
