About the event
The MFA/UN Career Event is a physical and virtual event designed to provide students and professionals with insights into career opportunities within the United Nations (UNDP) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The event will consist of speakers' presentations, followed by a Q&A session and a networking session for attendees to connect with professionals in the field. Physical attendance registration: https://forms.gle/JE9Xz6oiEAKRSCSi9 Segment 1: Keynote Speakers (60 mins) The event will begin with speakers providing an overview of the UN and MFA and their roles in shaping global policies. The speakers will share their personal experiences, insights, and advice on working for these organizations. The presentations will cover various topics, such as the benefits of working for the UN or MFA, career paths leading to these organizations, and tips for writing successful job applications. Segment 2: Q&A Session (30 mins) After the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with the speakers. This session will allow attendees to ask questions and seek advice about the speakers' presentations. This segment aims to give attendees a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges of working for the UN or MFA. Segment 3: Networking Session (30 mins) The final segment of the event will be a networking session where attendees can connect with professionals from the UN and MFA and other attendees. This session will allow attendees to ask questions, seek advice, and make connections for future job opportunities.
